Thorsten, I have applied the settings, like you said. With my Roland MIDI keyboard attached to my PC's MIDI in and MIDI out ports I can now see the keys I'm pressing on the Roland appear in the Input monitor. Also, I can use the Midi Ox "play notes from the computer keyboard" option to trigger stuff on my Roland. So this means my Midi Setup is OK now I guess. Then I tied midi in to midi out (feedback loop), loaded a SYX file and pressed send/receive in MidiOx. Bytes received equals bytes sent. Must be OK as wel..! Then I tried to...

...and this software is work ok whith this interface, when I use MIDI-COM with Logic Audio and other software is something wrong. When Midi device send something data string and then Logic Audio is receive this data and answer to Midi Device it is ok, but then midi device is send another data is Logic not receive data, but midi device can receceive from Logic... and when I try close Logic Audio I can't close... I dont know that this that ?, I used YAMAHA CBX Drive V2.0 and tested in ROLAND MIDI cOM drive and results is that same.... Why in MIDI-OX and Hyperterminal is work ok... Please Help Me.... ps. Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Poland....

Temat: MB SID freezes when "flooded" with midi
...i remember it was something not too high and not too low so i guess it's pretty possible it was C-2. but not for sure. i'll record it all for the next test and i'll choose the test notes and controller values more carefully. also - i'll try another midi interface i have (an M-AUDIO radium) and maybe i'll find out that one's okay... hmmm why the hell haven't i thought about that before?! actually it's quite possible that the ancient roland midi adapter i'm using mixes some stuff up! i'll check it out in the morning and report back. i hope it wasn't such a stupid mistake :-[ :-[ :-[

Sorry for the rapid fire LCD posts ;D - I've got an old Roland MIDI parametric EQ here which has always produced an audible hum while it was on (I bought it used). I've gotten my rooms quiet enough where it's not a very welcomed noise, but it looks too hi-tech not to keep turned on. ;) Now that I know how common most of the standard screens and chipsets are, I thought about just finding an equivalent and swapping them. Has anyone here seen (heard) this problem in a screen and does it sound like a failure of something, or...
