...ale nic w zasadzie nie dostałem. Były belgijskie pistolety z okresu I WS, ale ten akurat nie wygląda mi na "wojskowy". Prawdopodobnie jest to jakaś "podróbka" Colta Mod. 1910 (?) z Hiszpanii, zrobiona w latach 30-tych. Tak przypuszczam).
Nie popełnię też niedyskrecji, jeżeli powiem, że ten kumpel na zdjęciu to jest Sylvester Braun ("v" to nie pomyłka). Gość ma 74 lata. Jeździ on cały czas motocyklami (także off- road bikes ), "wyżywa" się ujeżdżając swoje Porsche, "dziurawi" dziesiątki na tarczach strzeleckich na 200 m. Bez lunety!!! I bez okularów!!!! (Te na zdjęciu to tylko słoneczne). Przeżył on Powstanie Warszawskie! Zwierzył się matce, że on, "jak tata", też chce walczyć....(w Powstaniu). Matka mu (chyba) paskiem wybiła z głowy "patriotyzm". Więc przeżył. Na uwagę zasługuje fakt, iż...

...and the like, but at the most basic level, it’s difficult and problematic to “Frankin-bike” a 26” frame into a true 29er. Question: So any old set of road wheels will work on a 29er? Asked another way: Are road wheels the SAME thing as 29er wheels? Answer: Kind of, but not really. The rim diameters are the same. However, at a basic level, the rear hub spacing (from frame dropout on 1 side to the other is usually 135 on mtb’s and 130 or so on road bikes) is different making the hubs a bit different. Usually a frame can accommodate this difference between road/mtb hubs, but it is a difference. Next, road rims in general are not designed for heavy off-road usage. The rim itself also tends to be narrower, meaning it may be more difficult to hold a full sized mtb sized tire. Witam Zakupilem niedawno na allegro po dos okazyjnej cenie sztyce karbonowa BBB Fiberpost II (BSP-32). Jak przed chwila wyczytalem wlasnie ta sztyca jest "only for road bikes". Wszystko pasuje: srednica, dlugosc, mamtylko watpliwosci, czy w rowerze mtb nie bedzie zbytnio narazona na jakis defekt:/ Jezdze lekkie xc, glownie polne ubite sciezki, czesto tez asfalt. Mam sie czego obawiac przy takiej jezdzie i mojej wadze ok 65 kilo?

Świetny pomysł z tym tematem! Brawo Robert! Też zdarzało mi się nie raz słyszeć "It's not my cup of tea".. ale nie chcąc się wdawać w niepotrzebny spór.. mi to tłumaczono bardziej, jako coć w czym nie czuję cię najlepiej, lub nie "to, co tygryski lubią najbardziej. "Yes, he prefers road bikes. But, it's not my cup of tea..." On lubi to, ale ja mówię o czym innym, (lubię) interesuję się czymś innym.. PS Czy ulster scotish się liczy i też go tu wrzucamy?

If we could fit a 10 tooth on there then we could manage with a 27 front sprocket; this would save another 3 links of chain and another 30% off the weight of the front sprocket. Even better if we could make a 5 tooth rear sprocket we could have a 14 tooth front sprocket! Well this is an idea that hasn�t escaped the notice of a few companies out there. Cassette hubs were originally devised to allow easy changes of gear ratios on mountain and road bikes, when the cassette hubs came to BMX we ended up with a modified design of the same technology. Sprockets were easily interchangeable and available in sizes from 13 upwards. The 13 soon became the most popular size because of its ability to run the smaller gears mentioned above. A few companies managed to bring out a 12 tooth sprocket to fit and the gears could get even smaller. Getting smaller than 12 wasn�t looking likely because there just wasn't...
